Veg Burmese Khow Suey

  • 1 small bowl boiled green peas
  • 2 carrots diced cubes
  • Baby corn cut thick round
  • 1 green chillies slit into half long
  • 3 dried red chillies, remove seeds and stalk
  • 400g/ml coconut milk
  • Basil stock chopped
  • Basil leaves chopped
  • Sesame oil / vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Simba Mbili garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Simba Mbili ginger powder
  • 1 tsp Simba Mbili tumeric powder
  • 1 tsp corriander powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp soy sauce light

Method

  • Heat oil in a wok. Add green chillies, dried red chillies, don’t brown.
  • Add diced vegetables and stir-fry on high flame.
  • Add basil stock, Simba Mbili garlic powder Simba Mbili ginger powder, Simba Mbili turmeric powder, coriander powder, coconut milk and some water.
  • Add sugar, salt, soy sauce and boil. Add green peas and chopped basil.
