Thepla
- 3 bowls wheat flour (atta)
- ¼ bowl chopped fresh methi
- ¼ bowl chopped coriander
- 1 tablespoon green chillies paste
- 1 teaspoon Simba Mbili garlic powder
- 2 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Simba Mbili turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon Simba Mbili cumin power
- 3 tablespoons of oil for dough
- Oil needed for shallow frying.
- Mix the flour together with oil and rub. Add the remaining above ingredient to the flour and make a dough using water if necessary. Make a small ball from the dough.
- Coat these in a wheat flour and roll each out into round shape,
- Heat a non-stick flat frying pan, add one tablespoon of oil to it and shallow fry each thepla in this.
- Turn over and cook until lighty browned, adding oil as necessary during this process.
