Pork Belly
- 700grams of pork belly
Marinate.
- 4 tablespoon vinegar
- 4 talblespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Simba Mbili rosemary
- 2 teaspoon Simba Mbili garlic powder
- Green chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon Simba Mbili black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
- Add the pork belly to the marinade and let it marinate overnight.
- Keep in fridge.
- The next day, dry the pork belly at the top on a paper towel and keep the remaining marinate in the baking dish.
- Add the pork belly to the baking dish and sprinkle salt over it.
- Cover with foil and let cook for 45 minutes at180 degrees Celsius in the oven.
- After 45 mins in the oven.
- Heat the grill and cook the skin for another 30 minutes, or until the skin starts to bubble.
- Serve hot.
