For the batter
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup sour curd
- 1 tsp chilli paste (green chillies mixed in a grinder)
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves (chopped)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
- 1/4 tsp Simba Mbili turmeric powder
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
For spreading
- Banana leaves
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients (except the banana leaves) and form a batter like the one made for dosa.
- Grease banana leaves with oil.
- Spread the batter over one leaf and cover it with another leaf.
- Roast on a pre-heated griddle (tawa) for 2-3 minutes.
Additional notes:
- Serve with coriander green chutney and masala green chilli.
