  • 1 cup dessicated coconut
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon Simba Mbili Clove powder
  • ½ teaspoon Simba Mbili Black Pepper powder
  • Pinch salt
  • Little oil
  • Boil the water with the sugar, Simba Mbili spices and salt until it becomes a thick syrup.
  • Put in the coconut and mix thoroughly.
  • Quickly spread on an oiled flat surface, eg. metal tray and spread it flat.
  • Let it cool preferably in a freezer, then cut into pieces and serve.
