Jeera chicken
- 1 chicken cut into small pieces without skin
- 2 red onions sliced
- 2 tablespoon simba mbili cumin (jeera)ground
- ½ Teaspoon simba mbili ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon simba mbili garlic powder
- 1 – 2 teaspoon green chilly
- 1 teaspoon simba mbili gram masala
- 2-3 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4-5 pieces cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- handful of chopped coriander
- Heat oil and butter in sauce pan. Add whole cinnamon, cloves and cumin seeds.
- Add sliced red onions and cook until slightly browned.
- After 5 mins add cut chicken, garlic powder, ginger powder, green chilly, salt, garam masala and little water and let it cook
- When it’s ready, add cumin (jeera) powder. Sprinkle chopped corriander.
- Serve hot with bread, chapaties or naan.
