Ginger Biscuits

  • 500 gms butter
  • 2 ½ cups wheat flour
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 ½ teaspoon soda-bi-card
  • 14 teaspoons simba mbili ginger powder
  • 1 tin golden syrup
  • ½ Cup orange juice
  • ¼ Cup milk
  • Preheat oven at 200°C.
  • Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add golden syrup, milk and ginger powder. Mix well.
  • Add flour and orange juice to the above mixture and make a dough.
  • Make small balls and place them on a baking tray. Press with fork.
  • Bake at 200°C.
