Mutton Kheema Curry
- ½ Kg mutton mince
- 3 – 4 red onions finely chopped
- 1 – 2 pod garlic sliced
- ½ Teaspoon simba mbili ginger powder
- ½ Teaspoon green chilly paste
- ½ Teaspoon simba mbili turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon simba mbili dhana jeera powder
- ½ Teaspoon simba mbili gram masala
- ½ Teaspoon simba mbili black pepper ground
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 pieces cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 5 pieces whole black pepper
- 2-3 tomatoes puréed
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste ( cerio)
- Fresh coriander chopped
- 1 small bowl of fresh peas
- Heat oil in a sauce pan, add cinnamon, whole cloves, cumin seeds and whole black pepper.
- Once the whole ingredients are tempered, add chopped onions, sliced garlic, ginger powder, green chilli paste, and let it cook until it’s slightly brown in color.
- Add mutton mince and mash until completely crumbled.
- Add fresh peas, salt, turmeric powder, gram masala, dhana jeera powder and black pepper powder. Add water and let it cook for an hour in medium to low heat.
- Add tomato purée and tomato paste. Garnish with chopped coriander.
- Serve hot with bread, chapaties or naan
